Hi, I'm Angela.
Growing up, you could always find me with a pet nearby, from cats to dogs to a hamster, and even guinea pigs. I have fond memories of visiting my grandparents’ farm, where I kept good company with the dog and barn cats. I even tamed the feral cats to be friendly enough to follow behind me like little ducklings. As an adult, I have gained experience with pets in numerous ways. From fostering and volunteering at our local animal shelter/rescues, to working as a veterinary receptionist/assistant, animals have and always will continue to be my heart.
In 2019, I discovered Rover where I signed up to provide pet care services for pet owners in my area. What better way to make some extra income than snuggling with cats and walking dogs? While I am still on Rover to this day and have gained experience caring for cats and dogs as well as backyard chickens, rabbits and more, I enjoy the freedom and flexibility running my own pet sitting business brings.
I've met so many amazing clients turned friends and adorable pets during my time as a pet sitter, and I can't wait to meet yours too!

Behind the Name

When brainstorming business names, I knew I wanted something unique that stood out from the crowd. Feeding my cats one night, I came up with the idea to blends my three cats’ names together. Silvluka is a combination of Silvermist, Luna and Kali.

I truly don't have enough wonderful things to say about Angela! She has been watching my cats and house sitting for me since 2020. At any given time, I've had 3 or 4 cats that are a little high maintenance - mixing powdered food with water, different foods for different cats, getting medicine, different types of litter, and the occasional ringworm! Angela takes it all in stride and is always willing to help out. When we had a death in the family, I panic texted her and she made room in her schedule so it was one thing we didn't have to worry about. When my husband accidentally closed the door to the room with the litter boxes and I was out of state, I texted her and she ran over to open it. The cats (and I) were grateful. She leaves our home in great condition, brings in the mail and packages, waters our plants, and loves on our fur babies like they were her own. When friends ask for recommendations on pet sitters, my go to is Angela -- and she should be your go to, too.

Please note that Silvluka Pet Sitting does not provide 24/7 in-home care. I continue care of my own pets and may accept additional drop-in visits, while ensuring your pets receive the care and attention they need.
Drop-in Visits
I stop by your home for 30 or 60 minutes to care for your pet. During these visits, I'll provide potty breaks, meal times, engaging play and plenty of cuddles. Additional tasks such as administering medication or attending to medical needs can be completed as well.
